COMMISSIONING OF THE HSOPS KUMASI BRANCH OFFICE

The Health Sector Occupational Pension Scheme (HSOPS) on Wednesday, 25th January 2023 commissioned its Kumasi branch office located at Ahodwo.

In the welcome address, Mrs. Perpetual Ofori Ampofo, the Member Secretary of the Board of Trustees, believed that the HSOPS is a pacesetter within the public sector pension space. “We are the first to have opened a branch in Kumasi as we have a big vision to go to all the regions of Ghana…’’, she added.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Derek Amoateng, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees said that the HSOPS had attained some significant milestones within the last few years, which included the launch of its website and a maiden Annual General Meeting that was held virtually and in-person.

Dr. Derek Amoateng added that the opening of the Kumasi branch office is to bring the services of the Scheme closer to its members.

He also assured members that the Scheme would continually work with the various stakeholders to ensure their pensions are secured, retained, and preserved.

Mr. David Tettey-Amey Abbey, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA) officially commissioned the HSOPS Kumasi branch office.

The HSOPS Kumasi office is located at Plot 17 Block 0 Ahodwo, opposite the Zenith Bank, Ahodwo Branch.
