He is a Financial Economist, a Lecturer and an Author with several years of experience that spans the areas of insurance, banking, mortgage, pensions, investment and economics. As an author, Andrews has written several opinion pieces of articles in the Business and Financial Times and won a National Award as the Best Reporter on Social Security Pensions in 2013. He has written two best selling books in financial services such as Pensions and Mortgage. Andrews has offered consultancy services and also served as a Resource Person in the area of pensions for several institutions including Bank of Ghana, Ghana Revenue Authority, National Lotteries, Electricity Company of Ghana, Tema Oil Refinery, Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana, Golden Star Resources and others. Andrews has been one of the founding members of the Health Sector Occupational Pension Scheme and has contributed tremendously to its development. It is therefore no surprise that in 2016, he was one of the selected few experts to serve on National Pensions Regulatory Authority (NPRA)’s Trustee Training Council (TTC) to oversee the training of Trustees and other Service Providers in the country.
